Silvija Padjen-Pajović is a writer, filmmaker, and psychotherapist based in Los Angeles.
Her work explores memory, grief, faith, inheritance, and the search for home. Drawing from personal history, cultural identity, and clinical experience, she is interested in the stories people tell themselves in order to make meaning from loss, belonging, and change.
Her most recent short film, A Death, reflects on friendship, memory, and the lingering presence of both concrete and ambiguous loss. Released on the tenth anniversary of a friend's death, the film serves as the culmination of a decade-long creative and personal reckoning with grief.
